Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 to 2019she was the artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she was also SSC's costume designer, producer composer/music director and text coach. Though she typically led within her acting ensemble In her final year with SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer. Her other work includes an array of game show appearances. The daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two of her brothers at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She attended Pomona College for a short duration and she graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Personally, Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. The couple has two daughters.
